For me, living abroad is like waking up to an adventure every day! For the first two months of my life in Sweden, I could hardly think a clear thought due to the information overload. Just a trip to the grocery store takes so much mental effort. And every day I’m blown away by discovering a difference in cultural norms that I just wasn’t expecting.
Things have settled down a bit as I have gotten more comfortable in my new environment. But as the seasons change, things continue to catch my eye that I would never see back at home.
Some things I have yet to embrace, like liquefied shrimp from a tube… but this section of my blog will be dedicated to those Swedish trends that I have made a part of my life, that put a smile on my face regularly, and that have now become my obsessions!
